Yes, posting here on blogspot is supposedly free, but keeps on getting harder. Mistakes have started showing up spontaneously, proving nearly impossible to fix. So apologies to all my readers for quirks in the last blog posting that kept popping up there despite my most valiant efforts. If the situation doesn't improve, then we will simply have to exit this forum. Vertical columns appearing there last time made reading the blog almost impossible. The more I tried to fix that, the worse it got.
If all this continues, I will reluctantly have to say farewell to all of you, dear readers, being unable to pay for blogging. If we should then have to leave this forum, I will certainly miss blogspot, but that last posting was really very frustrating. And it still didn't come out quite right, stubbornly resisting corrections. Thus, the time may come when we all will say goodbye forever to this blog. But for now, I'll try making shorter posts with fewer images to see if that helps. Thanks for sticking with me during this final push.
Is the blogosphere perhaps just getting too crowded? Could that be the problem?
Starting the blog 16 years ago was actually quite easy. I began with https://honduraspeacecorps.blogspot.com/ back in January 2009, which ran until September 2019. Then whe it abruptly stopped for some unknown reason, I immediately started this version, https://honduraspeacecorps2.blogspot.com/
I could always look for another free blogging site or even start all over now with https://honduraspeacecorps3.blogspot.com/ But no, let's forget about doing any of that. So if problems persist, it may be time to say adios now and forever to this blog. I am age 87 and 16 years may be long enough.
So now I'm making a last ditch appeal to the unseen blog gods and goddesses with their strange and mysterious ways, asking them to please keep us going here for a little while longer. Let's see what happens.
