Trump keeps falling asleep. West Va. Guard members were attacked

 

Here in West Virginia, residents are mourning the death of one of our own, a Guard member living not so far from where we live right now. Flags here are flying at half mast. Local folks here are also praying for the recovery of another guard member, both shot while on National Guard duty in Washington, DC.

U.S. Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, of Summersville, West Virginia, died on Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, a day after the Nov. 26 attack in the nation’s capital. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was hospitalized in critical condition. “Andrew is fighting for his life right now,” West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey said on Fox News’. “And his family and all of his friends, they’re trying to harvest as many prayers as possible.”

       W. Va. guards member Sarah Beckstrom has died. 

President Trump’s approval rating reached its lowest point 10 months into his second term and the lowest since he left office in 2021, according to a new survey.

The Gallup poll, released on Friday, shows Trump’s approval rating sitting at 36 percent, with 60 percent disapproving of how he’s handled the job since returning to the Oval Office in January. 

          Santa Donald is likely to be putting a few coals in our stockings unless we show him more love.  

Trump has anounced that he is on a "retribution campaign," meaning that asylum decisions have been halted and that he will be sending immigrants back to their home countries, calling ii "re-migration." (Will his wife and Vance's wife be "re-migrated"?)

Ir's been wonderful now to hear from so many friends during the holidays, including from my former DC neighbors whom I still really miss. Here's one recent message. 

Hope you and Jonathan had a good Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving this year was at [daughter's] house. Almost all of [wife's] brothers, sister, and their extended families were in attendance. The only one missing was her brother Ed's wife, who has a phobia regarding going out. My family is spread out all over the country. There is some family buzz about getting together by phone this weekend. I know we have done this before, but darn it, I can't recall how to pull it off..I suppose you are getting hit with the same unseasonably cold temperatures that we are having here now. Keep warm.The average temperature is forecast to really drop!

While Trump's retirement or resignation might be most welcome, we might then be stuck with JD Vance for several more years.

But now Kamala might actually be making a comeback; as she didn't lose by vey much last time.

Donald Trump, who rarely appears at his White House desk for more than a few hours each afternoon, still falls asleep there during oval office meetings, barely aware of what is going on. Who, if anyone, remains in charge? 

On-line postings suggest that narcolepsy (excessive daytime sleepiness) is associated with erectile dysfunction, so possibly that also applies to Donald Trump, though we'll probably never really know. Might Viagra perhaps help him to stay awake? 

When he finally wakes up, Mr. Trump often berates reporters for asking questions that he

apparently has trouble answering.  

“You’re a stupid person” — Trump lashed out at a CBS reporter who pressed him on the fact that the suspected DC shooter was actually thoroughly vetted before he was let in the US from Afghanistan.

Donald Trump continues to funnel money to Israel with no questions asked. Possible war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu is Trump's very best bud, so both of them should be brought before the International Court.

Netanyahu has even asked President Isaac Herzog for a pardon as he stands trial on corruption and fraud charges. Trump had urged Herzog to consider pardoning Netanyahu earlier this month. Many observers, myself included, regard Netanyahu as a blatant war criminal, as already has been indicated.

My books (see titles above on upper right) are still selling on Amazon, not in any large numbers, but showing that they are still being read. I keep on getting notifications of sales, though I haven't done any promotion for years. We've now lost contact with the woman who had originally uploaded the books there, even have forgotten her name. So I've not been able to collect any revenues from my book sales for several years now, forfeiting perhaps several hundred dollars so far, while Amazon keeps notifying me of sales. I may have to go in person to Amazon headquarters in Arlington, Va., to seek their advice. Will anyone there even talk with me? I must find a way to bring attention to my situation, maybe by getting a reporter to write about it? Elderly author seeks Amazon book sale proceeds?  Suggestions.are welcome.
