Our dog Willow likes looking out the car window. Whenever she sees another dog, even one rather far away, she goes into a frenzy. What would she do if we let her out? Probably just sniff the other dog to try to make friends.

Not surprisingly, Trump called his recent unfavorable poll numbers "fake."
Half of Americans say the Trump administration is not committed to protecting Americans’ rights and freedoms, according to an ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll... Additionally, majorities say President Donald Trump is not committed to protecting freedom of the press (61%), freedom of speech (57%), a fair criminal justice system (56%) or free and fair elections (56%). About half say he is not committed to protecting freedom of religion (49%). A 73% majority, though, say he is committed to protecting freedom to own firearms.
Trump always manages to keep himself at the center of the news, whatever happens.
He also railed against “Crazed Democrat Lunatics.”
Trump has now called Mamdami a "communist."
Elon Musk just declared, “Western Civilization is doomed."
California Governor Gavin Newsom has also weighed in.
Newsom made fun of Trump crying over the recent election results.
LONDON/MOSCOW (Reuters) -OPEC+ on Sunday agreed a small oil output increase for December and a pause in increases in the first quarter of next year as the producers' group moderates plans to regain market share due to rising fears of a supply glut. With the rise of wind and solar, demand for oil may be slowing.

Here are samples of a long-dead artist's work.
This image, "Raft of Medusa," now on display at the Louvre in Paris, was painted in
1819 by Theodore Gericault, depicting an actual shipwreck leaving very few survivors.
Another painting by Gericault: "Three lovers," from about 1820, is at the Getty in California.

And now let's see some rare flowers.
Flowers come in many colors, including a hue close to black.

"Black tulips" are dark, but not quite black, and lovely all the same.
And here now are "black irises," even closer to true black.

A former DC neighbor--a really fantastic cook--often sends me photos of scrumptious items she'd be willing to share with me if I still lived nearby. Here is the latest photo, featuring pumpkin muffins.

I told her, I'm sure those lovely muffins are very tasty--sorry I no longer live on Capitol HIll (sorry for many reasons!) as I'd like to try one (or 2). You and your friends will certainly enjoy eating them.
Here's a dog for which my former neighbor also bakes special treats. Our dog Willow would be envious if she only knew!
