T'is the season

On January 1, viewers can tune into a live broadcast of Zohran Mamdani’s inauguration as New York City's mayor. Mamdani, a member of the Democratic Party, will become New York City’s youngest and first Muslim mayor. He is a former member of the New York State Assembly, first elected to represent District 36 in Queens in 2020.

                    Jon and I ate Christmas dinner together at a hotel owned by his employer. 

Because my own eyesight could use a little boost. you may have noticed that I'm  now using a little larger font on the blog. 

After so many challenges recently with posting the blog, let's see how far we get this time. I do appreciate viewers' patience and flexibility. I may need to post this soon, as problems are already emerging. 

Regarding the rather large, very costly White House ballroom that he plans to build, Donald Trump said, "it’s a monument to myself. I’m building a monument to myself because no one else will.’ ” (He's probably right about that,)

Our country could use a new "baby boom." But not many Americans seem in the mood for doing that right now. c myself am part of the pre-baby boom generation, but I do have kids who fall into baby-boom category. I'm living with one right now.
