It takes money to make money.

As has been said before, it takes money to make money,

After his Supreme Court loss, Trump calls on Congress to pass a law banning birthright citizenship

Of course, that's not going to happen, probably never, but certainly not in my lifetime.

Melania from Slovenia found that her visitor's visa had expired, but no worries, as she then got herself pregnant by Donald Trump and they are still married! And their son Barron has birthright citizenship.

E. Jean Carroll asks judge to release more than $5 million after Supreme Court denies Trump’s appeal

Donald Trump needs to finally pay up. He should be glad that he beat the rape charge, even though
it appears that he
did actually rape Carroll, but he managed to beat that charge only with the help of some very clever and highly paid lawyers. Otherwise he would probably not be our president today.

Here's another recent Trump loss. What's happening right now? He thought a US president was like a king!

Millions of Uyghurs are suffering from unspeakable atrocities at the hands of the Chinese government, including forced sterilization of young women.

Reuters, As deportation protections end, Haitians confront fear and uncertainty

After my several missions to Haiti and seeing what is happening there now, it seems that back when I was a regular visitor, Haiti was in its golden age. The local art work was spectacular and I had collected many examples, including lovely beaded tapestries and wood carvings but couldn't bring them all with me to West Virginia.

I often stayed at the Hotel Oloffson in

Port-au-Prince.
Google says: Built in the late 19th century, this iconic "gingerbread" style building inspired the fictional Hotel Trianon in Graham Greene's 1966 novel The Comedians. Tragically, the hotel was burned to the ground by gangs in July 2025 amid escalating violence in the capital.

A number of Republicans have signed on to a resolution that would order the

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to designate Haiti for TPS (Temprary Proteted Status)
until Jan. 20, 2029.  The bill

currently awaits action in the Senate.

Rep. Seth Moulton (MA-06): Introduced the TPS Relief Act to directly overturn the Supreme Court ruling and restore judicial review of TPS termination decisions to protect roughly 1.3 million. For more than 150 years, the 14th Amendment has guaranteed a simple promise: if you are born in the United States, you are
an American citizen. Today’s SCOTUS ruliing victory for the Constitution and for every American who believes that rights in this country still matter.

Birthright citizenship is not a loophole. It is a Constitutional right.
I'm giving up now on this post because the blog dieties are not cooperating, forcing everything into vertical
columns.
