Passengers in deadly Florida Learjet crash identified as family of 4, including 2 young children, their caretaker and another couple
A private plane went down, killing everyone aboard, exploding in a huge fireball, injuring one person on the ground.
The passengers' lives were extinguished in just a nanosecond. None of us knows when
our own
time might come. It could come tomorrow, even today.
Trump has been out rallying Republican voters for the midterms, but he no longer has much clout. Yet he seems unaware that he is now a lame duck. Move over, Donald Trump, you've already had what pop artist Andy Warhol called your allotted "15 minutes of fame."

Is Donald Trump about to be engulfed by a giant blue wave?
Until recently, Mr. Trump was the man of the hour. But it seems that his hour is up now, as his political stature has shrunk overnight. Dare we say that the Trump era is over? Yes, he's already had his "15 minutes of fame." No one gets more than that, not Jimmy Carter, not Ronald Reagan, not Marilyn Monroe, not Princess Diana, not even Donald J. Trump. So move over, Donald, as your own time is up. You've already reached the pinnacle, the American presidency, and are on the downhill slope.
Trump is due for a letdown with his political clout now fading fast. He is probably unprepared, still unaware of his fading popularity and his slim political prospects. New, younger folks are arriving on the scene.
And let's not forget the Merck Medical Manual's likely description of Trump's own malady:
"Narcissistic personality disorder... a mental health condition that is characterized by a pervasive pattern of feeling superior (grandiosity), needing admiration, and lacking empathy."
So it will be very hard for Donald Trump to accept his own loss of status. He won't "go gentle into that good night."

Onto Bhutan now:
Support there has been high for the nation's city project:
Thousands of volunteers build 108 stupas in a day in Bhutan's Gelephu Mindfulness City,
About two hours after construction was completed, the king dedicated Stupa No. 76 to Modi. According to Bhutanese officials, that number was chosen because the Indian prime minister recently turned age 76.
Bhutan's own King Wangchuck admitted that he had initially doubted whether it would be possible to build 108 stupas in one day. But then he emphasized that people of different ages and professions had all united for the task, and he also thanked Prime Minister Modi and the Indian government for their support for Bhutan and the Gelephu Mindfulness City concept. Gelephu is located about 240 kilometers southeast of Thimphu, Bhutan's capital, near the border with the Indian state of Assam. The king plans to develop the city as a global economic hub focused on spirituality.
My own friends in Bhutan had participated in building the stupas.
One friend doing that was my former DC visitor Sonam Tashi.
Yes it’s true, Barbara. Bhutan built 15 meter tall 108 stupas in a single day and me and my wife witnessed by our own eyes. We prayed for wellbeing of all humans in this planet earth.
We as Buddhists prayed for next generation and many foreigners came to help building these stupas by sponsoring them.
On other side of the world, people are building weapons and destroying beautiful places and lots of killings are going on. Bhutan is now praying after their deaths and for peace. Bhutan is small and poor, but our heart is rich in culture and wellbeing. We are totally against war and killing.
I became busy here in Gelephu because there are many cultural events in these coming years and thousands of projects are coming. I am supplying boulders and design stones to the projects. At the same time I also have a legal office to talk, meet and keep doing what am good at. I am seeing many outsiders and they are interested to work here.
Warmly
Sonam Tashi
Sonam Tashi seen above and then below

with his wife.
And here are their children,
Sonam Tashi is a Bhutanese lawyer who'd stayed at my home back in Washington, DC, while serving there on an internship. He had once aspired to come to the US to raise his family here. He had even started putting money aside to pay the $100,000 immigrant visa fee that would have allowed him and his family to come. But as soon as Donald Trump became involved in American politics, those aspirations were immediately abandoned. Trump is not an admired figure around much of the world, quite to the contrary. When Mr. Trump came on scene, many of my friends living abroad suddenly lost their zest for coming to this country. Poof!
Another close Bhutan friend is Sonam Yangchen.
Hi aunty,
Hope all good with you, I have not physically volunteered to build the stupas, but have contributed in kind and also money. We are so excited and amazed that 108 stupas of 15 meters high are constructed within 9 hrs.
All people of Bhutan are rejoicing

Now then on to Israel
Netanyahu is a rare Trump enthusiast living in another country, now grateful to our president for having kept himself and Israel afloat with massive financial aid and continuing political support. Probably most Israelis are thankful for US aid and military protection, as much of the world has now abandoned them. Netanyahu's future in Israel is uncertain, but Trump apparently still backs him. Most Israelis may have also become uncertain about Netanyahu, as without Trump's support, he could well be in prison now.

My many friends all around the world no longer admire our country nor do they aspire to come to the US any more, not since Trump became involved in our politics. He is like kryptonite.
For many years, friends living abroad maintained an overly positive view of opportunities here and of the political landscape in our country, but all their aspirations instantly evaporated poof! just as soon as Donald Trump came on the scene. President Jimmy Carter was much admired abroad and many liked Ronald Reagan. The Bushes were not greatly esteemed, but were considered OK. It was only when Donald Trump first became our president that our country ceased being viewed as such a golden destination. Better to make a decent life in their own country, as my friends in Bhutan are doing now, than to be living among those who had somehow chosen Trump as their/our leader.
Donald Trump still has supporters in Israel and perhaps in Argentina and Brazil. But most of my own friends in the 40 countries that I have visited all over the world have stopped considering our own country a place where they would want to live, a change of heart that happened just as soon Trump came on the scene. Their aspirations to make a new life here just vanished overnight.
Trump is a toxic figure for much of the world. But his own self-esteem remains intact. No shrinking violet, he still considers himself as the very greatest. most admired, most popular US president ever in our 250-year history. He has certainly let Americans and others around the world know what a very excellent leader and truly great man he is. He is almost bursting with pride about his own stellar achievements. Call it arrogance, call it hubris, call it what you will. The White House has now released this photo of Donald J. Trump.
