Yes, the Donald is flying high, praising himself as the greatest president ever and a man who never, ever has made even one tiny mistake! Wow! Ipso facto, everything he has ever done is totally perfect, perfect marriage and then perfect divorce, both excellent choices. No regrets now or in the future. How lucky we Americans are to have him as our president! We'll probably have him for almost 4 more years.

Am having some problems updating this recent posting, so thanks for your. understanding. Maybe my interet service in W Va. is somehow different.
Susan Sarfati
and
Joel Sarfati
were my neighbors for many years. On the last day spent in my DC home, I left the front doot unlocked and asked neighbors to just come in to say farewell. Susan and Joel, both my own age, climbed up the stairs to the 3rd floor to say goodbye in person.
Thanks, Susan and Joel
A good friend in Vermont sent me this message:
Here's the very first Mother's Day greeting that I received in my new home in West Virginia:
Bárbara que pases FELIZ DIA DE LAS MADRES junto a tu familia
Here I was in the emergency room of a W Va. hospital with a painfully swollen right arm, a psychologically induced injury as there was nothing whatsoever wrong with my arm.
The shock of moving from my DC home of 56 years, where I'd raised 4 kids and a Cuban foster son, was more than I could bear. I am still recovering from the emotional shock and finality of that move. I'd made volunteer medical and humanitarian missions to some 40 countries over the years and circumvented the globe several times, but for 56 years, Washington, DC, was always "home." Now Berkeley Springs, W Va. is my final home.
Mother's Day brunch in W Va. after my recent partial recovery.
Meanwhile, working-age people really needed in the US to staff restaurants and other businesses are being summarily deported. It will be a while before white South African children are old enough to work.
You are making a lot of progress and should be proud of your achievements. Certainly, you were in culture shock after your move. You will be fine in 60 to 90 days.
