Starting over and over again

 

OK, folks started out the blog once again as a Word document, after losing my last blog posting twice! actually three (3) times! I was just posting it for the third time, when again it simply vanished! Maybe I should ditch the blog altogether?  (Or did Trump or his scouts somehow interfere, even with little old me?)

I do enjoy writing the blog and re-reading earlier posts, but it does get tedious to keep trying to rewrite it, so at first, I tried to create it as a separate document, then paste it immediately before it disappeared once again. But that document still disappeared! Who can we complain to now? Nobody, as we are completely on our own.

I’m not even sure how to save anything written on a computer anymore, even as a Word document. That must be saved in the Cloud and the Cloud may not be reliable either. Nothing whatsoever can be guaranteed, not even that we ourselves will still be alive tomorrow. It's just a matter of odds. One day, we each will disappear from this life, never to return. Will our blogs, emails, letters, and books, such as the 2 books I have written, last somewhat longer? I certainly hope so.

So, here goes for the 4th time, whatever I can remember. But I am now age 87 and don’t have a photographic memory. This time will be much briefer, of course. Maybe best to skip right to the present. 

 I had just been commenting on Maureen Comey's firing when Whoosh! That was the end of my third posting effort. Maybe we should just start over from now and forget about the backstory. After all, new events keep on unfolding.

We do know that Trump absolutely does not want the Epstein files to be opened. But now even his base is curious and beginning to suspect a coverup (yes, even my Trump-voting son among them.)

If Trump should be removed from office or resign, we might do better with JD Vance. We probably wouldn't do much worse, as no one can rely on Trump, who keeps on changing his mind and his word and speaking in garbage that isn't even intelligible 

No more talk about adding Donald Trump's face to Mt. Rushmore, about declaring him the greatest president ever--even beyond Washington and Lincoln, --or of awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize. 

Now he just wants to stay out of prison. 

Trump would rather we all focused these days on his golf game, rather than whatever else he may be involved in.

Did Epstein really kill himself or was he murdered to keep him quiet? We may never know.

Yes, this has been posted before. Fauja Singh finally deserves this recognition. 

Most Americans disapprove of Trump's handling of immigration, the economy, and everything else. They may be regretting their vote. What can we all do now? 

Trump earned less than 50% approval on every issue included in the new AP-NORC poll, including the economy, government spending, trade, taxes, immigration, health care and his handling of the conflict in the Middle East. He is underwater on everything. Can Trump be impeached? We should certainly try. 

I'm posting this right now before it disappears again!
