Trump wants the name of the Department of Defense changed to Department of War.

The change would have to be made on everything from stationary to buildings to ships. It sounds like Trump is itching to go to war.

President Trump sent a letter to Israel's president asking him to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a long-running corruption trial that has bitterly divided that nation. Trump had also previously called for a pardon for Netanyahu during a speech in Israel's parliament. Netanyahu, one of Trump's best buds, is charged with fraud, breach of trust, and accepting bribes in three separate cases accusing him of exchanging favors with political supporters. (The evidence is quite strong,) Trump has been urging a pardon for Netanyahu for some months now. Without Trump's intervention, Netanyahu had been likely to do prison time, but now he seems to be getting off scot-free. Israel depends on continuing to receive all those very useful US dollars. Is that bribery of an entire country?

It's not only young women--it's also older women like myself who would like live elsewhere. We feel the Trump administration is enacting policies against women of all ages--actually against both men and women..

My granddaughter and her teenage son usually identify as "black," but are hardly black compared to the folks I once met in south Sudan. Mr. Trump says he is now sending unwanted migrants to south Sudan, which has indicated a willingness to take them. (Probably some payment to that young nation is also involved.)

I'd posted the photo above that I took of her on the blog last time, but here it is again. I often wonder what has happened to her now? We spoke in English, a language actually spoken by most people in south Sudan.
