Trump is failing to get support from the public on every major issue with 3 years still left to go.

Even my Trump voting son is losing enthusiasm these days.

Daily Mail,  West Virginia man became 'agent' for world's most inbred family then kept donations sent by their followers for himself, prosecutors say

The family lived in a rural town called Odd (appropriately named?), located in the center of West Virginia, at a considerable distance from us here in Berkeley Springs. . 

        Now the fraudster, John "Patrick" Roark, 47, of Odd, West Virginia, has been arrested. 

     Family members with various disabilities never benefited from the donations sent to them.

Dr, Alex, (PhD), seen holding an award certificate below, is no longer in touch with his former girlfriend who had visited us back in DC when he was staying with me there. She broke up with him  right then and there, declaring him not handsome enough to become the father of her future children. Nor does he know if she has had any children since, though she is now turning 30, so has no time to waste. Attractiveness, of course, lies in the eye of the beholder and depends on cultural definitons. I consider Alex actually quite good looking, partially because of his warm personality. He is originally from Costa Rica, but now teaches at a university in Spain. 

Alex is learning to speak Catalan, really very similar to Spanish, so much so that the similarity might almost make it harder to learn. When I was Barcelona, I could mostly understand it and also could be understood by speaking Spanish. But since the Catalan lnaguage has now become a matter of regional pride, it's best to avoid speaking Spanish at all in Barcelona now, Alex says. Even English is preferable. The Catalan independence movement was unsuccessful, but at least locals can now keep their own language, spoken just in this small corner of the world, while,Spanish dominates in the rest of Spain and in the Americas, also even here in much of the USA..

 William (Bill) Drayton is a longtime friend, who once won a MacArthur Fellowship and then founded an organization called Ashoka, named for an ancient Indian leader. He established Ashoka 40 years ago, using the motto "Everyone a changemaker," which now supports "social entrepenuers" in countires all around the globe. 

Last fall, Bill, who is about 5 years younger than I am, went backpacking alone in Montana's Beartooth Mountains where he had a too-close encounter with an actual bear. Here is one place he visited there. 

Another friend has sent the following message to a Cuba-affiliated organization in the US after Cuba's intervention in Venezuela::

What's going to happen now to their widows, their mothers, their children? Is the Cuban regime, is General Raul Castro willing to help them?  

Don't you think that the families of Cuban soldiers who are sent abroad by the Cuban government, and have died while following orders, merit special consideration? As happens in other countries that take care of their veterans and their families, who is going to provide for them now?

Perhaps your organization could start a program to help them. Their need is great, and it is the very least folks who support the Cuban revolution can do.

And then on to Africa briefly, then will post this right now before any more glitches occur, as this is my 3rd attempt! 

A lip plate looks rather uncomfortable, but is a thing of beauty for members of a remote African tribe.
