The photo below was just sent from Honduras, showing my young friend Oliver, whom I have known his whole life. His parents have asked me to please visit them again, but I am not sure about ever going back. My passport has expired and I am quite short of funds after paying a humongous tax bill after selling my DC house.
Resolutions of Disapproval to block weapons sales to Israel this week, so
the time to turn the pressure up on the Senate is *NOW!*

URGENT CALLS TO BLOCK ARMS TO ISRAEL
*☎️ 📞 ☎️ MAKE URGENT CALLS TO YOUR SENATORS TODAY!*
1) Call the Congressional switchboard at *202-224-3121*
2) Ask to be connected to your senators' offices: repeat for each of your
two senators. Make 2 calls!!!
3) Once connected, give them this message (in as many of your own words as
possible):
*Hello, my name is ____________ and I'm a voting constituent from (your
city/state). I am calling to urge the senator to co-sponsor and vote YES on
two Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block the Trump Administration’s
unilateral shipments of over 20,000 bombs worth $660 million and bulldozers
to Israel. *
*S.J.Res.138 would block the sale of 22,000 one-thousand-pound bombs, and
S.J.Res. 32 would block the sale of Caterpillar bulldozers, used to destroy
civilian infrastructure and displace Palestinians in Gaza and the West
Bank. I want to see the senator co-sponsor and support both of these
critical resolutions. Thank you.*

Yahoo News. Efforts to expel Reps. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, from Congress gained bipartisan steam on Sunday, as lawmakers on both sides of the aisle said they would vote in favor of two separate measures to remove the congressmen following separate sexual misconduct allegations against each of them.
Earlier this year, Gonzales, who was running for re-election to the House in Texas, dropped out of the race after reports that he had exchanged sexually explicit text messages with a staffer who later died by suicide. In March, Gonzales acknowledged that he’d had an affair with the staffer, saying, “I made a mistake, and I had a lapse in judgment. And there was a lack of faith, and I take full responsibility for those actions." He added that he has now “reconciled” with his wife and has decided to leave Congress.
Swalwell had strongly denied all the allegations against him, but the accusations kept piling up and actually appeared to be credible. Why would so many women in so many very different positions and locales suddenly have all come forward against Swalwell, who had just announced a run for California governor, while their accusations revealed him to be a would-be Casanova and a rampant sex addict apparently lacking any basic self-control. He should now forget all about becoming governor or even about remaining in office.

Yahoo News. President Donald Trump called former President Joe Biden “mentally retarded” twice.
Who actually is the guy with more mental health challenges? In any case, Biden is not trying to remain in government and Trump certainly is.
President Trump recently posted this image of himself at Easter, possibly to appeal to his evangelical supporters. (How do you think they might have reacted?)
Appearing on Fox News' Special Report with host Bret Baier, Vance—who had converted to Catholicism in 2019—was pressed directly on the AI image, showing Trump in a Christ-like pose healing a sick man, surrounded by American flags and a bald eagle. Trump posted it to Truth Social, hours after calling Pope Leo "weak on crime, and terrible for foreign policy."
"I think the president was posting a joke," Vance told Baier. "He took it down because he recognized that a lot of people weren't understanding his humor in that case."
Where, pray tell, was the humor?

Some former allies and advisers are questioning whether President Trump has grown increasingly unbalanced, describing him as a “lunatic” and “clearly insane.”
