Here are some photos now from my 17-year-old great-grandson's high school graduation in Florida with so many good friends and family attending from near and far. Note the white sandy beaches there on Florida's west coast. At the beach photo, I am with my older daughter Melanie, a wonderful cook, who lives there now and has her own local food preparation and delivery service.

Here's a message I sent to my older daughter whom just I saw in Florida, as mentioned.Thank you for the photos--such a good time that we had. And thanks for taking such good care of me after I'd slipped on that bathroom rug in that other house. My thigh is still black and blue. Fortunately, at age 88, I didn't break any bones. But now I'm glad to be home again. I am very independent in these familiar surroundings with only the dog for company, like right now while [son] Jon is away at work at CoolFont, the hotel that burned down but is being rebuilt and opening again soon. You, dear daughter, were such a smart, agile baby--as you've heard. You climbed up a whole flight of stairs in our DC house when you were only about 5 months old and when I turned around and screamed, you tumbled right back down to the landing below, but didn't seem to be hurt. Soon after, you were climbing up on top of the player piano and you scared me so much, but you weren't afraid of anything. You have been such a great daughter,so I am very proud and glad to be your mother. Today, locally here, our high temperature is supposed to be 75F, just perfect. Please tell me again the name of your food company and show me some of the products that you sell there locally. That one for $10 was very tasty. You invented these products and still help prepare them.. I am trying to stay alive a few years longer, but would rather just drop dead than have a long decline. Please keep in touch. Love always, Mom

Wash. Post, Trump’s $1.45 trillion defense budget is the largest — and most contested — in American history
Donald Trump definitely considers himself a king with uncontested dictatorial powers.
