Will Trump even survive to the end of his term? He seems in poor health and is himself the main victim of "Trump derangement syndrome"

On the last few mornings, when we have gone out, we see that the grass is still green after the morning frost has melted. The pond at CoolFont early-on has been covered with a thin sheet of ice and the ducks have all gone south, but during the day, the ice melts. Winter has officially arrived, but it has not yet been very cold outside and no snow so far. I for one, being what we call "friolenta" is Spanish, am not really so anxious to see snow, though local  children look forward to school being cancelled and for a chance to get out their sleds and tobaggans. .  

Thanks for all the messages and photos from readers, including of the stone building shown here below, located not far from where we are living now. I do appreciate everyone's efforts to help after my recent blog post was lost. It had simply vanished--whoosh! I have only been able to partially reconstruct it from memory. Most of what appears here now is by stream of consciousness, not following any plan,.  

I was especially sorry to lose the image of the large, very bright orange and green gargoyle fashioned of some type of sheer cloth that had suddenly appeared up on the local castle's roof, just flapping its wings in the early morning breeze. It is still up there right now, already 2 days in a row, but no photos of it have appeared online. Someone has taken them all down and has zapped the one photo I'd posted here on this blog of that very same brightly colored cloth gargoyle, thereby completely crashing my entire blog post in the process. It's certainly a mystery exactly how or why that actually happened, but perhaps someone associated with the castle did not want that image to appear anywhere and somehow erased it everywhere, taking my whole blog post with it, nor can an image of that cloth gargol be found online anymore. Unfortunately, I didn't copy and save it beforehand, as how could I possibly have known that it would just disappear? If you actually want to see the castle's rooftop gargoyle, you will simply have to come here to Berkeley Springs and take a look yourself. 

Let's move on now from that troublesome, but colorful cloth gargoyle still visible today, floating way up high above the castle roof; If you should visit Berkeley Springs, you can see it for yourself, but not on this blog. I've learned my lesson! No more gargoyles will ever be posted here again! 

As I told a friend: 

The bright orange and green cloth gargoyle is still up there now on the castle roof today, But it has not appeared anywhere online and I don't dare to try to photograph it myself or put it back on my blog ever again. No, no, no! 

Instead, let's post another photo just sent to me of a nearby winery made of stone, a building material rarely used any more. Houses and other buildings constructed of wood are now being covered with facades of fake brick or stone, no longer being constructed of real stone or even of brick. 

Let's not forget to mention our president, who always manages to make headlines. 

Donald Trump apparently has several chronic health conditions of considerable concern, although he was reported to be in perfect health. 

President Trump has recently been diagnosed with a condition called chronic venous insufficiency.

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) happens when leg veins become damaged and no longer work properly. Normally, valves in leg veins keep blood flowing back up to the heart. But CVI affects those valves, causing blood to pool in the legs, hence Trump's obvious purple patches now quite visible on both of his legs. 

Not only does Trump show those worrisome patches on his legs, but he frequently dozes off when he always used to be a "night owl." 

CNN, President Trump appeared to doze off during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. As members of his Cabinet heaped praise on the president, his eyes appeared to close multiple times.

She insists that  he is just listening intently. (Are we really supposed to believe that?)

Questions over 79-year-old Trump's fitness have increased after the display of a series of his drowsy moments on camera and of the bruising on his hand and legs.

Whenever he is actuallyawake, Mr. Trump often just keeps on talking but making no sense, though his staff seem unable to get him to shut up. He appears to be sinking now even further into dementia without any self-awareness or understanding of how his behavior might be impacting others. It is typical of someone with dementia to fail to recognize their own cognitive decline, as may be happening now in Donald Trump's case. He has often bragged about "acing" a very simple mental screening, as was reported earlier, because he thinks it shows that he is really pretty sharp. His decline is apt to continue even as his self-confidence grows. Excessive daytime sleepiness and bruising spots appearing on his lower legs are other visible evidence of his worrisome health condition. He is unlikely to improve, only to decline now even further.

Trump's approval rating is now only 39%. Yes, it's 3 more years, folks! Will Trump even make it to the end of his term? If not, then Vice President JD Vance would take over and he is now only age 41.

After the Reiners were murdered, apparently by their own son, instead of being the consoler-in-chief, Donald Trump used the occasion to try to bolster himself and to criticize them--all so very very tacky! .

Trump, in a post on social media, said that Reiner and his wife were killed “due to the anger he [Reiner] caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.” He said Reiner “was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness.”

In fact, though the Reiners were certainly no fans of Donald Trump, their son did not attack them because of their anti-Trump views. "Trump derangement syndrome," to the extent it might even be considered to exist, more appropriately describes Trump's own current deranged state of mind--his own paranoia and ongoing mental decline  He has not been thinking clearly for quite some time now. "Trump derangement syndrome," might more appropriately be applied these days to Mr. Trump himself. The Donald may be sorry to have even have referred to that syndrome. 

Though Trump has been sleeping quite a lot lately, he has still taken time to make sure that his predecessors' are completely vilified. His staff may even have resisted his clumsy efforts, but in the end they may have felt obligated to obey him as he is the President, after all. 

While Mr. Trump often touts his approval rating, it has fallen to a new of low at 36%.

Wash. Post, Kennedy Center board votes to rename ‘Trump-Kennedy Center’

Kennedy Center trustees, installed earlier this year by President Trump himself, have voted to rename the center after him, said Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Maybe the Center's name can be changed back to "Kennedy Center" after Trump leaves office. 

Here's something else that will need to be changed when Trump is thankfully finally gone.

Is Trump's plaque statement going to change any viewer's mind? No, it's just going to show that Trump is actually losing his own mind. At some point, although he will put up a fight, efforts will have to be made to remove Donald Trump from office or else to otherwise counteract him because the country and the world cannot endure all this nonsense for 3 more years.

Hegseth and Trump are both blatant war criminals, as is Netanyahu, whom Trump is also protecting. Someimtes I don't believe I still belong in this country or even in this world any more.

WASHINGTON — Former Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers in a closed-door interview Wednesday that his team of investigators had “developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that President Donald Trump had criminally conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election, according to portions of his [Smith's] opening statement, obtained by The Associated Press. Smith also said investigators had accrued “powerful evidence” that Trump broke the law by hoarding classified documents from his first term as president at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and by obstructing government efforts to recover the records.

So then what might happen next? Donald Trump is still President right now and will block any efforts to sanction or to control himself. He may even manage to finish out his term unless he dies first. Even my own son, who actually voted for Trump, seems to be cooling somewhat these days. We may all have to endure 3 more troublesome years with Mr. Trump in the presidency unless he can somehow be removed. Republican lawmakers may continue to defend him, but even they may eventually tire of making excuses for Trump to an ever more skeptical electorate. And they also need to be concerned about their own re-election. 

I don't know enough about so-called "gender afffirming care" to make a judgment about what should be done on that front. It does seem to me that no irreversable surgery should be done before age 18. Such surgery might make it difficult or impossible for someone to have biolgical children and could be irreversable for someone who later changed their mind. Even sex-change pioneer Christine Jorgensen sometimes had second thoughts.

On the other hand, sex change medical care may allow the creation of a new sexual idendity. Indeed, if surgical and hormonal options for minors no longer existed, as was largely the case a generation or so ago, then an individual would just to have adapt without having any restment, perhaps only by cross-dressing, leading to maximum flexibility to reverse the change  if desired later in life. There have always been people dissatisfied with their biologcal gender and even rare cases of some born of indeterminate gender. In China, there were once males who became "castrati", performing as high pitched singers from very young ages.   

A castrato (Italian; pl.: castrati) is a male singer who underwent castration before puberty in order to retain a singing voice equivalent to that of a soprano, mezzo-soprano, or contralto. .

While Donald Trump seems to be getting more confused and forgetful wuth age, he is not alone. At age 87  I realize that I am getting rather forgetful myself, often having to write reminder notes on a daily calendar. I am fortunate to be living these days with my son Jon. Although Jon has some of his own memory issues because of a serious head injury suffered several years ago, the 2 of us together can usually make sense of a situation.

The 24-year-old man who allegedly perpetrated the terror attack in Australia along with his father, age 50, has now been slapped with a range of serious charges. He has been charged with 15 counts of murder, 40 counts of causing wounding and grievous bodily harm with intent to murder, and many other criminal offenses. The father died at the scene, while the son remains hospitalized. The deadly shooting resulted in 15 fatalities and in serious injuries to many others.

Since I have worked as an interpreter (Spanish-English), I know it is sometimes hard not to

become emotionally affected, although we were supposed to always remain neutral and act just like a machine.
