because he apparently enjoys the perks and publicity afforded him in public office. He's now trying to figure out a way to actually remain in office for life. He might be following the example of Francois "Papa Doc" Duvalier, who served as Haiti's president for 14 years until his death in 1971. I may never actually live to see the day when Trump leaves office, as he may figure out a way to remain.
Mr. Trump often takes a break with a diet coke while out on the golf course.
Not everyone in Venezuela is happy about Trump's intervention there. But Trump wanted Venezuelan oil and he wanted it now.
Some Venzuelans call Trump a murderer, kidnapper, pedophile, and hateful.Donald Trump still also wants to take over Greenland, although Denmark says it's not for sale. Denmark really wants to keep it and its residents want to stay. Maybe Trump will just take it anyway with no need to actually buy it. He has declared, "This is our hemisphere." And he considers Greenland part of our hemisphere.
Trump WH Confirms It’s Working to ‘Acquire Greenland’: ‘U.S. Military is Always An Option’
Hey folks, Trump is not actually a king after all, but just a US president who has won election by a slim margin, and lost much citizen support in the year since taking office this time. Still, he has hinted at seeking an unprecented 3rd term, perhaps starting out as a vice president the next time around. Wouldn't he rather retire now, to spend more time snoozing and out on the golf course? Actually without even retiring, Trump has already been spending ample time both napping and playing golf, so might just try to stay in office, as he seems to enjoy the perks that public life already offers him, as well as all the publicity. He might even decide to run as vice president next time.
According to The Economist, 352 days into Donald Trump's term,
39% approve, 56% disapprove, 4% not sure.
Sen. Rick Scott: Cuban government will be overthrown ‘this year’ or ‘next year’ https://thehill.com/homenews/
Well, let's see if that actually happens. Communism as a political ideology has lost most of its luster. Ever since Fidel Castro's death, no one in Cuba has really taken his place. The same has been true since the deaths of Hitler, Mao, and Stalin, who were replaced by lesser figures. Putin has been trying to emulate the big three, but with only modest success. Perhaps the era of the strongman dictator is over now? Maduro was one of the last holdouts, though seemingly had lost citizens' support, or perhaps had lost their acquiescence, since even dictatorships require citizen acceptance. And what about Cuba? After Venezuela and Greenland, will Trump try to take Cuba next? Keep tuned.
Maybe the only way to stop Trump will be to seize him by force and lock him up without his phone, but who would even dare try to do that?
