Donald Trump doesn't seem to really care. He thinks he's doing just fine. In fact, he said he considers his performance to be just "perfect." In any case, he is already in office.
Netnayahu may now be savoring how he successfully tricked an adversary into being killed during a ceasefire when no one was supposed to attack. Certainly Hamas now will be seeking vengeance.
Bad move, Mr. Netanyahu. Don't you want this war to end? Maybe he doesn't really want it to end, as then he would need to face trial. Which is how this whole thing got started to begin with, begining with Bibi's initial urging of a very gullible Donald Trump to strike Iran for no reason. A lot of lives have been lost and a lot of damage has been done just to keep Bibi from going to trial.
So now Mr. Netanyahu, who are you going to be able to negotiate with to end the war? You've killed the chief negotiator and Israel has become even more of a pariah in the region. Your word and promises cannot be trusted. Your agreement to any future ceasefire cannot be trusted. You have killed the chief negotiator for the other side. Israel is now in more danger than ever before, surrounded by even more hostile neighbors.
And Donald Trump was in on the game, so the US is not an honest broker either. Trump could have refused Bibi's suggestion. The war can only end when the 2 sides can trust each other to end it. That seems obvious. It should never have been started to begin with. The priceof gas and everything else in this country is rising as a consequence.
The US only started the war at Netanyahu's suggestion by striking Iran for no reason. Now the war has spread throughout the region. American voters do not approve of this war. European allies do not support it. Probably even Israelis don't support it. Trump and Netanyahu are the only ones.

Wild mushrooms look do tasty and are free for the picking out in the woods. When I was in the Peace Corps in Honduras, we used to pick wild mushrooms, but before eating them, we would place mushroom pieces on our lips to see if we had a reaction. If nothing happened after several hours, then we dared to actually eat them and they were delicious. Since I'm still here, our tactics worked.
